Hi I'm Sandy I have just started this profile so bear with me, I'm 39 and a single parent and have one daughter aged 11, I have sacrificed alot to bring her up on my own but feel proud of myself for not taking the easy way out, I have made sure she hasn't had to experience lots of `uncle's' and she has had a good childhood so far..  

 I'm at University full time studying law.  I like talking to people on the net as I don't get out much socially anymore because of responsibilities and the fact that I have lost interest in clubs except jazz and comedy clubs and pubs most of the time bore me (I don't like drunks)  I still sometimes go out with my mates,  I have a few gay best friends who are male obvioulsy don't chat me up and make me laugh big time!.... but I prefer to take my kid out.  Before I had my daughter I suppose I was a bit wild, I went clubbing at Stringfellows when I was just 15 so have got most of that out of my system now.  My ideal day out is the Tate modern art gallery, Theatre, Museum, or an historic house or castle, my idea of hell is probably Disneyland, Thorpe Park, Chessington world of adventure (although I take my daughter, I usally take a newspaper and just follow her around, lol) although I might enjoy seaworld and the Zoo if I think they are treating the animals well and have a conservation project. 

I want to travel in the future and hopefully do a course in animal behaviour and become self employed working in etither consumer law or land law, I do not want to be a solicitor. Anyway I suppose I can be a bit serious sometimes, but give me a drink and the party girl sure comes back quick, lol

I want to be happy, I like to help people and I love animals, and chocolate I have a rude sense of humour and am up for a laugh.
